chef de partie

30 hours per week
Competitive Hourly Rate

Assist in food preparation and production, ensuring high-quality standards are met
Follow recipes and guidelines for proper food handling and safety
Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff.

 

Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Leadership skills to effectively supervise and guide junior staff members.

As a CDP, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, production, and ensuring smooth operations. Your attention to detail, knowledge of food safety regulations, and ability to work as part of a team will contribute to the success of our culinary team.

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred. If you are passionate about food, have excellent organisational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Bar / Waiting on Staff

We are looking for hardworking individuals, to add to our existing FOH team.

You will ideally have an interest in all things food and drink, an eye for detail, ability to work under your own initiative and most of all be a team player.

As the “face” of the business you will have a kind, open, approachable nature and the capacity to communicate detailed information about the product you are selling.

Some experience in the industry would be ideal, but full training will be given.

An interest in beer would be a great asset, as the pub is owned by a local independent brewery.

On top of offering competitive hourly rates, you will benefit from 20% staff discount, proper staff meals and an end of shift drink.
